This day adjustable timer helps you to count lifespan of filter, cartridge, or any lifespan concern devices.
When you install a new filter, for example, you may set maker's promised lifetime to the timer and activate it to countdown. When the lifetime expired, the full LCD display will be blinking, or keep aural warning to replace a new filter.
Although the minimum setting interval is one day, the display resolution can be as fine as 1 second. Because the timer is designed on purpose to change to proper display format automatically. It changes from DDDD to DD-HH after counting down to 100 days, then HH-MM after 1 day, and then MM-SS after 1 hour.
Due to the count up capability, this day adjustable timer can be used as a chronometer too. It is good to measure long range of lifespan, like filter, special purpose lamp, or equipment maintenance time.
